OVERVIEW
The Scenic Journey
My design process is a collaborative exploration, transforming initial concepts into environments. From the first sketch to the final construction.
STAGE 01
Concept Sketches
The scenic design process begins with a script breakdown and a visual dialogue. I translate the core themes of the narrative into a series of hand-drawn and digital concept sketches. This phase focuses on exploring shapes, atmosphere, and the 'lived-in' texture of the world before moving into structural development.

STAGE 02
Design Model
Visualizing the spatial relationship between the performers and the environment. These 1/4" scale models serve as a critical bridge between concept and construction.
STAGE 03
Framework
This phase focuses on structural planning, transforming the artistic vision into framework before adding the final details.

STAGE 04
Final Product
The final result combines careful research, artistic teamwork, and technical skill. In this part of the process, the finished set is shown during a real performance. Lighting, actors, and the story all work together to make the physical space come alive. This is the last step in turning a simple sketch into a stage reality.
